Our Impact

Bodhi School of Early Learning

The Bodhi School of Early Learning is an initiative by the BodhiSangam Foundation, dedicated to transforming the early childhood education (ECE) landscape across India. Recognizing that the early years are the most critical in a child’s development, this brand focuses exclusively on equipping educators with the tools, knowledge, and mindset needed to nurture young minds with care, creativity, and purpose.

Our mission is to bridge the gap in quality early learning experiences, especially in underserved communities. We work closely with Anganwadi Sevikas, municipal school teachers, Zilla Parishad (ZP) educators, and private preschool staff to bring about a shift in how early childhood education is approached, understood, and delivered.

Flagship Program: The Art of Teaching

The ‘Art of Teaching’ is the flagship program under the Bodhi School of Early Learning. It is a comprehensive capacity-building workshop designed for early childhood educators, rooted in the principles of child-centered learning, play-based pedagogy, and socio-emotional development.

The program blends theory with hands-on practice and includes modules on:

  • Understanding child psychology and developmental milestones
  • Creating inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environments
  • Storytelling, music, and movement as teaching tools
  • Communication with parents and communities
  • Self-awareness and emotional resilience for educators

What sets ‘Art of Teaching’ apart is its universal design and contextual adaptability. Whether you’re an Anganwadi Sevika in a rural village, a teacher in a municipal or ZP school, or part of a private urban preschool, the program is structured to meet educators where they are - and take them to where they can truly thrive.

Why It Matters?

At Bodhi School of Early Learning, we believe that empowered educators create empowered children. By investing in the learning journeys of those who nurture our youngest citizens, we are laying the foundation for a more equitable, compassionate, and capable society.

Being YOUth

Being YOUth is the youth-focused vertical of the BodhiSangam Foundation, committed to unlocking the potential of young people, especially from rural areas, small towns, and tier 2–3 cities. We believe that every young person, regardless of geography or background, deserves the tools, opportunities, and support to become confident, capable changemakers in their communities and beyond.

Our Approach

Being YOUth is built on the belief that youth empowerment must be holistic - nurturing not just skills but also identity, agency, and purpose.

Our programs focus on:

  • Leadership and life skills
  • Self-discovery and emotional well-being
  • Civic participation and social responsibility
  • Career readiness and exposure to new opportunities
  • Mentorship and peer learning

Our methods are grounded in experiential learning, dialogue, and real-world exposure, ensuring that young people are not just passive recipients but active participants in their growth journey.

Why Rural Youth?

Young people in rural India often face limited access to information, guidance, role models, and safe spaces to express themselves. Being YOUth addresses this gap by creating localized, inclusive, and empowering platforms where rural youth can discover who they are, what they care about, and how they can contribute meaningfully to the world around them. We aim to amplify rural voices, challenge stereotypes, and co-create a new narrative where youth from smaller places are seen not as beneficiaries, but as leaders.

Our Programs

From grassroots leadership camps and community projects to digital literacy sessions and career exploration workshops, Being YOUth’s programs are designed to meet youth where they are and help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and courage. We also work closely with Gram Panchayats, schools, colleges, and local organizations to integrate youth perspectives into development planning and governance, especially through initiatives like GPDP (Gram Panchayat Development Plans).

In addition to these, we actively invest in community engagement and capacity-building by:

  • Organizing programs to deepen civic awareness and constitutional values
  • Disseminating progressive ideas and inclusive narratives through literature, YouTube channels, and community platforms
  • Encouraging critical thinking and informed dialogue around democratic values, justice, and equality

These efforts are aimed at creating a generation of young people who are not only skilled and employable but also deeply rooted in the values of the Constitution, equity, and participative democracy.

Join the Movement

If you are a young person looking to grow, a mentor willing to give back, or an organization working with rural youth—we’d love to collaborate.
